Quality Bearings Online supports a local charity

Every year Quality Bearings Online collaborates with a charity, and for 2018 we have decided to support the CashForKids with a series of team projects and activities.

CashForKids goal is to help disadvantaged or disabled young people aged 0 to 18, by proving specialist equipment that will help them improve their quality of life. This year they are organising a challenge project called 500 faces, recruiting 500 people who will each raise £100 for them.

At Quality Bearings Online, we wanted to participate in this 500 faces challenge for the whole year and our latest activity was to raise money by completing the famous “Three Peaks Challenge.” This well known challenge consists of hiking 24 miles, over three peaks with a total of ascent of 5200 ft under 12 hours.

We were extremely proud of our team and supporters for completing and sponsoring this challenge, raising a grand total of £2,090.

We now look forward to our next CashForKids event in October 2018, where we’ll be participating in the Abbey Dash. The goal is to run 10K in less than an hour while sponsoring the local charity.
