Celebrating 10 Years Of Exporting

2022 marks a significant milestone for Quality Bearings Online, as it’s been 10 years since we opened our warehouse back in 2012.

On the 15^th of February 2012 our directors, Denny Maude (CEO) and Simon Riley (Business Development Director) established Quality Bearings Online (OBOL). Denny and Simon wanted to create a business to revolutionize the bearing industry. Our mission has always to be the number one choice for premium bearing and auxiliary engineering products, offering the fasted and most reliable service worldwide.

We can truly say we’ve never strayed away from our mission and from a company which started with 2, we are now a strong, talented and driven team of 18. Over the last 10 years we’ve achieved huge success with the help of many valued customers and partners. We are grateful for each and every one of you.

How Did We Celebrate Our Birthday?

Of course, it wouldn’t be a QBOL anniversary if we didn’t celebrate by throwing a party. On the 15^th of February we celebrated with the people who have helped us get to where we are today. We kicked the morning off with some Bucks Fizz, followed by some tasty food with a 2ft tall brownie stack. We then rounded off the day by looking back over the last 10 years of QBOL by running a quiz and received messages from our QBOL alumni, highlighting all our memorable moments.

Our International Journey

On 26^th June 2012, our directors identified a gap in the market when we received our first international order for some Lazy Susan Bearings. This was just the beginning of our exporting journey and from this date, our presence overseas have soared. Now our fast, reliable service and technical customer support are delivered to and enjoyed by our customers all around the world

To commemorate our 10-year anniversary and mark the date of our first international order, throughout June, we are giving back to our partners and customers. All customers who place an order in June, will be in with the chance of winning a prize. Keep an eye out in your parcels to see if you’re a winner! To our valued partners, we’ve sent gifts and QBOL sweet boxes, as a way of saying Thank You for all the support we’ve received over the last 10 years.

What’s Next?

The next 10 Years will be even more exciting as our business continues to grow and develop. With all that we have achieved in our first 10 Years, we want to give back to our partners and communities. This summer we are expanding into a purpose build warehouse to cater for our growing team and facilitate future business development. With the expansion to a new premises, sustainability is further becoming a key part of our strategy.
